Mythical Neighborhood

So, I am going to be starting a new series sometime soon. This will be involving a magical little neighborhood that you, the User, find themselves moving into. Whether you are a human and accidentally stumbled into this neighborhood somehow, or are non-human...There is going to be lots of fun characters and a whole neighborhood of drama, connections, and mysteries.
Now, this will be an open world. I will create an open lorebook for this world on JanitorAI for others to use and create bots for if they see fit to it. In the lorebook will be basic information on the world, how it works, the different buildings and their functions, etc. Along with the main characters I place into the world, for others to use as NPCs in their bots. The tag for this will be under #whimsey, so those that wish to join in will have the ability to do so with that tag.
This neighborhood is a hidden magical neighborhood; meant to be charmed against human eyes and on another plane of existence. This is where all the ghouls, the supernatural, the cryptids, and the otherwise non-humans or demi-humans of the world gather to live their lives when they aren't out in the "human world" doing there thang. Where big foot goes, when he isn't wondering through woods scaring human/demi-human campers on accident cuz he just wanted to find those berries he likes. Or where Mothman comes back to his wife and child when he's done trying to warn humans in the night of dangers to come, despite their lack of listening skills (or maybe just the language barrier. Oops!). Where vampires stop by the local grocery store for a blood bag for dinner, and ghosts play ball in the local park.
So, get ready for a wild ride in this series, as it will be harboring some interesting and familiar characters (with a special twist to them, in my style, of course). If you wish to start making a character for it now, you can! In this world, humans and demi-huamans live otherwise normal and equal to each other in the "human world." But in the hidden town of Whimsey Heights, all ghouls, supernatural creatures, and cryptids alike hide out to live their "normal" lives without the problems of humans/demi-humans. Of course there is other secret "towns" like this around the world, but this series will be within New Orleans, LA; the town hidden with magic underneath the New Orleans city scape (think of it like the Upside Down in Stranger things. A portal would open up to the "other world" from the same spot. So both cities are overlapped just on different planes of existence). These cryptics, supernaturals, etc. are not believed to be real among the "human world," and are considered simple lore and children's stories. Thought that is ok, because they intend to keep it that way; with their own laws and rules regulating they keep their true lives and existence hidden from the "human world." A lot of these creatures are even more scared of humans, then humans are of them! So, let's see where this series can go...and what trouble we can get into, shall we?
I hope you guys end up enjoying this series. I know I will enjoy making the characters for it. I certainly hope to see other bots from creators in the series! I will be working on the lorebook over the coming days and connecting characters of the world.
